Travel to Dijon

Fly to Paris, Lyon or Basel

You could fly to Paris airports:

• Aéroport de Paris-Charles de Gaulle, CDG;
• Aéroport de Paris-Orly, ORY;
• Aéroport de Paris-Beauvais, BVA.

or to Lyon, Aéroport de Lyon-Saint Exupéry, LYS.

Another option is to fly to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, EAP.

In Paris or Lyon

In Paris you need to access a train station called "Paris-Gare-de-Lyon" using RER (a train transit system serving Paris and its suburbs), a bus, or a taxi.

For example, from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport you may take RER B to "Châtelet-Les Halles" than RER A to "Gare de Lyon". The RER trip's price is 11.40 €.

At Paris-Gare-de-Lyon you can take a fast TGV train to Dijon. If you want less expensive TER option, then you need to go to another train station called "Paris-Bercy-Bourgogne-Pays-d'Auvergne". It's accessible by foot in 15 minutes from Paris-Gare-de-Lyon.

In Lyon you need to access a train station called "Part-Dieu" using Rhônexpress (the price is 15.20 €) or a taxi. More info at Rhônexpress web-site.

From Paris or Lyon to Dijon by train

From Paris or Lyon you can take a TGV (fast) or TER (less expensive) train. One-way ticket price is usually less than 50 €. TGV trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. TER from Paris to Dijon will take 3 hours, TER from Lyon to Dijon will take 2 hours. Here you can reserve train tickets: SNCF.

Dijon has train connections with Milan, Luxembourg, Lausanne, Genève, Basel and other cities.

From EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg to Dijon by train

Several options exists. You can, for instance, go to Basel SBB train station using a bus number 50, then take a direct TGV LIRIA train to Dijon, or...

1. Take a bus line 11 to Saint Louis SNCF train station.
2. Go to Mulhouse SNCF train station by a TER train.
3. From Mulhouse go directly to Dijon by a TGV train.

In both cases, the total price should be approx. 50 €. The journey will take at least 2 hours.

In Dijon

You may use the tramway T1 to go to the conference place, the tramway's station is called "Université". The tram ride usually takes about 20 minutes from Dijon's train station to the "Université". You can use a contactless credit card payment inside a tram, the price is 1.40 €.
